Hello Family & Friends!

So….HAVE YOU MARKED YOURSELF INTERESTED? HAVE YOU MARKED YOURSELF GOING? HAVE YOU SHARED THE EVENT? HAVE YOU INVITED YOUR FRIENDS YET?

We are coming down to less than two weeks away! The biggest way to help the #ChristInChristmas event grow (and have a greater impact) is to share it! Sadly, I have already maxed out my allotted 500 invites (silly silly Facebook). So... because of that it is up to YOU now to share it with those you know would love to come! If you have already invited people, then you could give them a followup reminder which would help make the invite more meaningful! This event is going to be awesome and I'm excited you're coming! #ChristInChristmas

I'm so grateful for all of you!! Thanks for being apart of my life. Thanks for the good times. Thanks for the hard times. Thanks for making me who I am. For me, "people" is what I go back to (again and again) when I consider what I'm most grateful for. As I pondered last Thanksgiving about all the family and friends in my life that mean the most to me I was filled with joy and gratitude. Life sure is a lot more than the "stuff". Life is about relationships. Life is about progression. Life is about making mistakes and overcoming them. Life is sticking together despite the storm that seems to want to rip us apart. I'm so glad I have you all in my court and that you've helped me through thick and thin. Happy Late Thanksgiving Day!

Have you ever thought about ALL your blessings? Anytime I'm "down and out" I try to remember what I HAVE rather than what I DON'T. It seems that every time I do that I feel better. Those hidden blessings (that I have carelessly left in my subconscious) will pop back into view. My blue glasses turn into yellow ones. As I've been on my mission I have seen even more blessings than I could have ever imagined. I truly love the experiences I get to have everyday. Some days are hard while others seem to fly by. In the end, both the bad and the good result into one beautiful picture. #LaVieEstBell
So just to explain the picture of my companion sitting on the floor. Elder Norman LOVES LOVES LOVES Mountain Dew. To him it is the nectar of the God's! I think Lance would really like him =) Long story short, he could not wait until Preparation Day so we could hop over to Walmart and buy a 24-Pack of original Dew and 12-Pack of game fuel. I may need to confront him about his drinking problem... just kidding, but it sure was fun to see the fridge stocked with all that nectar. I believe he plans on pounding 19 Dew's for his 19th Birthday. I thought Elder Durocher running 19-Miles on his 19th was pretty sweet. Now I'm REALLY excited to see this one!! That is of course with 911 on speed dial.

Last but not least, I wanted to mention that we have the sweetest older couple in our ward, the Kister's! They are pushing their nineties and are still working as hard as the prophet. They go on teamups with us ALL the time. They are so caring. Both Brother and Sister Kister make us laugh every time we are with them. It reminds me of the humor that Sister Hinckley has. Anyhow, we love them so much!

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church. Our Savior has given us so much and continues to bless us every day. The Book of Mormon was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith and holds the fullness of the Gospel. As we follow not only follow President Ezra Taft Benson's admonition 'to read it everyday' but also our current Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, we will be blessed! These are the last days. We must 'lengthen our stride'. 'The Standard of Truth' has been erected and we must choose to uphold it, or leave it. I love this work! I know that I'm where I need to be. I love you all and say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." -Elder Austin K Brady, Nov. 26th, 2018.

Kia Kaha!

Elder Brady
