The 88th Chronicle

Hello family and friends!

Let's get cliche. Sweet! So it's a new year y'all and I'm looking forward to it. When I think of what this year will mean for my life and where I'll be by the end of it, it's kinda mind boggling. So much growth is gonna happen in 2020. Let's go!

New Year: Yes, it is now 2020.

New Me: Actually, not much has changed. I'm still that same old great looking guy that loves this work and is striving to stay humble.

New Age: Well, not until Wednesday 👀

New Comp: Elder Andrew got transferred. It was unfortunate cause he was one of my favorites but let's be real...all my comps have been pretty great. There were rough patches with some but I ended up loving all of them anyways. So my new comp is Elder Chapmam from Gilbert, AZ. "Can I get a hype in the chat?" -Elder Chapman. He's obedient, hard working, and good at ball. What more could I ask for?

New Converts: We had three baptisms this last weekend! John in the YSA ward as well as Sean and Dawneyel in the Capital Ward. Man, I love baptisms. The best part for me was hearing their testimonies right after being baptized. As they shared their story and tender spiritual experiences I could feel the joy they felt. Sure was and is fulfilling.

Quote of the Week: (speaking of Abinadi) "God protects his follower who is ministering to a people that hate him for saying they will be destroyed unless they change their ways and repent. We can all take this as a lesson, even if someone would dislike us for telling them their wrong, it is better to correct them than let them continue in their ways until it destroys them." -John Carpenter
