The 93rd Chronicle
Hello family and friends!
Yesterday in sacrament meeting one of the High Councilors from the Stake came to speak in the Capital Ward. As he stood up to address us he began with this statement:
"Brothers and Sisters! We bring the love of the Stake Presidency. I'm grateful to be here with you today and I can tell that you are a very spiritual ward. I'm sure you're curious as to how I know that!
*gestures in a sweeping motion to the whole stand*
"You gave it away by having four tissue boxes up here on the podium. Haha, I've never seen that before!"
Speaking of the Capital ward, I'm getting transferred! It's been a wonderful four and a half months here. I've absolutely loved serving in the Lincoln YSA and Capital wards. It's probably one of my all-time favorite areas. Three transfers, two companions, multiple baptisms, wonderful members (in both wards), an amazing zone, two tours to Memorial Stadium, two cars, and countless new friends. I'll be heading to Marshall, Minnesota as a District Leader and greenie buster. It's only a hop skip and a jump from here so that's nice. Sounds cold!
Quote of the Week: (talking to his comp while fixing hat hair before going to a YSA activity) "I'm not trying to impress anybody, but I'm definitely not trying to look like a scrub!” -Elder Brady
